About Amy

Amy was born in Perth, WA. She grew up in the northern suburbs of Kingsley with her mum, dad and younger sister. Amy attended Lake Joondalup Baptist College in Joondalup where she met her high school sweetheart & husband Joe Williams. They were together from the age of 16 until he unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 36.

She and her 3 beautiful children Henry, Ruby & Mia live in the family home in Wembley Downs.

In 2017 Amy received her Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration and started her own residential interior design business.

By 2020 Amy’s heart was yearning for more, something deeper and more meaningful.

In her own process and years of grief, receiving counselling of various methods, discovering who she is as an individual, and having the sole care of 3 young children, two of whom have special needs, Amy has a lot of insight to share and inspire others.

With her growth mindset, positivity, strength, constant learning, understanding and growth in the field of grief & life challenges has led Amy to study Art Therapy. Her main interest lies in counselling young kids and teens going through grief, trauma and any difficulties in life by using Art Therapy as a gentler approach.

Amy enjoys spending her time reading non-fiction & inspirational books, listening to music, doing pilates, yin yoga, nature walks, going to the beach & catching up with friends and family.

Amy is creative, passionate, kind, gentle, loving and warm.  She embraces life with open arms and spreads her positive vibes onto all those that she meets.

Dedication:

To my husband Joe Williams, for giving me the most incredible 20 years.

For without you, I wouldn’t be the woman I am today.
